| Audience: |
Supervisors, safety committee members, safety
practitioners, and others required to perform a Job Hazard
Analysis, develop Safe Work Procedures, or to establish an
effective Inspection program. |

No previous subject knowledge is required.
This is an introductory course. |
| Objectives: |
Participants will develop strategies to first
identify workplace hazards and then select and test a variety
of control measures. This program will meet the training requirements
of Elements 2, 3, & 4 of the Alberta Partnership Audit.
Case studies are based on hazardous situations drawn from
each participant’s workplace. Participants will understand
the theory of creating written work procedures, and will develop
one for their respective workplaces. Both productivity as
well as safety and health issues are examined. |
