Collision Investigation


Audience: Supervisors, safety committee members, safety practitioners, and others required to investigate workplace accidents involving vehicles.
Experience Level:      

This is an introductory course however, some previous workplace investigation training or experience would be beneficial.

Objectives:

To identify, preserve, and utilize the various types of physical evidence found at a collision scene.

To familiarize participants with the sequence of events of a collision process and the contribution each plays.

To appreciate your limitations as an investigator, and the role a trained accident reconstructionist can play in assisting you in determining causation.
