Incident
Investigation -- Tips, Techniques & Trivia
I'll be brief!
I'm swamped with a number of major investigations
and this week I'm in Ottawa doing some training for a Federal
Government Department.
On October 21st I'll be part of a panel in Fort
McMurray presenting the "Aftermath of an Oilsands Accident".
The session is hosted by the McLennan Ross law firm and registration
information can be found in the following link. Aftermath
of an Oilsands Accident
Investigation training takes place this month
in Edmonton.

Photographic Markers
If you are taking photos at a serious incident
scene you might consider using a photographic marker (as seen
on CSI) or that has been a standard police practice for years.
Besides using a photo log (see link below) you
may find it helpful to use these numbers. The PDF below will print
you numbers from 1 to 20. Find some heavier yellow paper (cover
stock) to print them on. They will need to be cut and then you
have to make them into a triangle and staple them together. It
works! I use them!
