First responders to incident scenes, supervisors,
safety committee members and others required to investigate
routine workplace incidents. |
| Experience Level: |
No previous subject knowledge is required. This is an introductory
course. |
| Delivery Method: |
Webinar. Web based training for small groups using telephone
and video conferencing. |
| Objectives: |
Participants will gain an appreciation of the principles
of incident investigation. They will learn how to respond
to an incident scene to ensure evidence is protected and witnesses
are identified. Using the facts they uncover they will conduct
a root cause analysis in order to develop corrective actions
that will truly prevent a recurrence. |

| Session Length: |
Webinar: 2.0 hours for the session plus approximately 1.0
hour for the optional case study to be submitted by email
or fax. A Certificate of Completion is available to web based
participants who satisfactorily complete the case study. |
